Dewey Foley, son of Mick Foley, departs from WWE
Dewey Foley is gone from WWE as Pwinsider.com reported today that the son of WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley is no longer part of the company. Foley made the decision to leave the company and he was not cut. One source stated his departure happened in April.
He had been part of the WWE Creative Team, most recently in NXT. He had also made appearances for the company by appearing for the Holy Foley. At one point, he was the lead writer for 205 Live.
Dewey joined the company in 2016 as an assistant for the creative team. Before joining the staff, he posted writing samples on CreativeWWE.wordpress.com containing a lot of storyline ideas for the company.
Neither Mick nor Dewey has publicly commented on the departure. The WWE Hall Of Famer is staying busy with his podcast, Foley is Pod.
